Our cattle operation is located in
Brookshire Texas. For the past five years we have acquired
the best genetics available in both red and black Angus and
Brangus breeds. After our quick start, we have continued
adding and replacing traits that we believe will benefit the
cattle man in general, from the producer, to the stocker, to
the feed lot.
In the 2006 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
at the Open Beef Cattle Show our efforts paid off. During
the competition, our bull TR Mr. Red Brick 74R2 received the
International Red Brangus Grand Champion prize and our TR
Ms. Sunset 56R won the Champion Heifer Calf. Based on
these results and convinced of the quality of our animals,
we decided to put our genetics to a test.
In a joint effort with our sister company,
Inversiones Tiyaba, we exported our genetics (semen and
embryos) to Colombia, South America. Inversiones Tiyaba is a
commercial cattle operation with ranches on the Colombian
plains and along the Magdalena river basin, both are locally
known for being tough places to raise cattle. The results
proved our genetics are outstanding!
